Group Detail: The West Michigan WebSphere User Group started in December 2001 with about 50 initial members. In November 2008 we reached 400 members. We are a group of companies interested in exploring and sharing information related to WebSphere based solutions and products, the support and the infrastructure used in an e-business environment based on WebSphere and Service Oriented Architecture.
We have no registration fee, so anyone is welcome to join the group.
We are looking to grow further, which means that you are the most important aspect of our group. Come, join us! Encourage your colleagues to join us as well!

Dear West Michigan WUG Members,
As a leader of a very active West Michigan WebSphere Users Group (WUG), I was awarded one free pass (valued about $2,195 USD) to Impact 2012 to raffle off to my WUG members. With that in mind, from now until February 15, 2012, anyone who posts in the West Michigan WUG forums will be entered into a drawing for the complimentary Impact 2012 registration.

Contest rules:
- You must be a registered member of the West Michigan WUG on the Global WebSphere Community.
- You must contribute quality posts to the West Michigan WUG forums (i.e., posts must be WebSphere- or technology-related; spam posts will not be accepted). It is up to the discretion of the WUG owner to determine if a post will not be accepted.
- Your name will be entered into the drawing each time you make a quality post. For example, if you post in 4 forums, your name is entered into the drawing 4 times.
- Posts must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on February 15, 2012 to be counted in the drawing.
- The winner of the drawing will be announced February 16, 2012.
- The winner will be required to pay her/his travel to/from Las Vegas and living expenses (i.e., hotel). Breakfast and lunch are provided to Impact registered participants.
- Employees of IBM; UCG; and national, state, or local governments of any country are not eligible for the prize.
