Creating DR Instance

Hi,


We are creating DR Instance in another DataCenter and planning


both environments to be in Active state.


WAS 6.1 and oracle 10g


I Have a lot of questions like


DataBase instance,On which process the data should be synchronized and on which interval the sync should be happen in order to get HighAvailability...etc


Can someone please provide the source(links) such that it should be most reliable for realtime.
