Chicago WebSphere User Group - WindySphere

Group Detail: The Chicago WebSphere User Group, WindySphere, provides product information, strategic direction and best practices for WebSphere users in the greater Chicago area. WindySphere meetings are held once or twice a year. Meeting attendance is typically in the 60 to 100 range and there are usually about 7 to 10 different presentations. The presentations broken into interest tracks and include WebSphere Server, WPLC (Workplace, Portal & Collaboration Products), MQ and development.
Content is driven by users and presentations are based on user interest and demand. All presentation are given with a focus on educating the WebSphere user community.
The activities of the WindySphere user group are directed through its Board of Directors for the benefit of its members. The Board of Directors is comprised of:

Group Detail: We are the Southeast Michigan WebSphere Users group. Our first meeting was in Nov 2001. We have over 1000 members currently. Our members come from around the metro Detroit area with vast experiences in WAS and developing J2EE applications. Our large WAS Customer base in the Detroit area allows us to have distinguished speakers from all levels of IBM and Partners. Our meetings are located at the IBM Building in Southfield.

Group Detail: Welcome to the WebSphere Messaging and Connectivity User Group South Asia.
The Messaging and Connectivity User Group South Asia was launched in 2008 to bring together the users of the WebSphere messaging and connectivity products in the India / South Asia region. The objective of the group is to exchange user experiences and share knowledge amongst the community using these products and technology.
The regular features at the meetings include updates/presentations from IBM on the WebSphere Messaging and Connectivity product range, demos and User presentations.
The group has been having face to face meetings in Bangalore and the last event was a day long event held at the Pride Hotel, Bangalore on 29th July 2010 attended by users from 25+ firms. A few details of the previous event are available below.
The group is now seeking to expand and invites users from other cities to join the group. You are invited to join the user group, attend the meetings and benefit from all facilities provided. Membership of the user group is free!
