WebSphere Service Registry and Repository
The Minnesota WebSphere User Group is having a meeting on this Wednesday, March 16. The topic is on organizing and governing services featuring WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR), and the speakers are Matt Goshgarian, WebSphere Technical Specialist and Minnesota WUG group leader, and Cady Stauss, Senior WebSphere Technical Specialist. Here's an abstract for the meeting: As the number of services within a company continually grows, it is important to have a process to keep them organized. How will they be reused? Who will maintain them? Which department will fund them? Keeping track of services in a spreadsheet on a shared files system may no longer be effective. This presentation will focus on the importance of service organization. First, we will discuss common questions, like the ones above, and generically talk about managing services at your company. Next, we'll focus on WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR), an IBM tool that can help achieve service governance and organization. Finally, we'll discuss how WSRR integrates with other IBM solutions, such as DataPower, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, and more.
