Take a break from sessions this year at Impact and visit the Global WebSphere Community Room -- Lido 3101. Here's what we have in store:

Virtual gaming: Experienced gamers and N00bs alike can take their turn at one of three virtual game pods outside the GWC Community room in the Lido Foyer.  We'll award gift cards for daily game winners and the overall high scorer will win an iPad.

New member contests: Sign up for the GWC at Impact, and you'll receive a nice GWC backpack as a gift.  All new members -- whether you signed up at Impact or elsewhere -- will be entered into a drawing for a gift card.  We'll be awarding a gift card to one new member each day next week  (Monday - Friday). 

Shout Out Contest: Stop by Lido 3101 and do a short, 5-minute video interview to tell us the most valuable thing you've learned at Impact and how you're going to put it to use at the office.  Once the video is recorded, you'll be able to upload it to your GWC account. You will also receive a GWC travel mug as a token of our appreciation.  All participants will be entered into a drawing to win one of two gift cards.

Chirp Challenge: Blog on the GWC site, post to Facebook or LinkedIn, or send a Tweet using #GWC, and you'll be automatically entered into a gift card drawing. We'll have a new drawing each day, so the more you contribute, the better your chances at winning!

Buttons! You suggested the slogans and you voted on your favorites.  Don't forget to stop by Lido 3101 to pick them up! We have buttons for MQ, WAS, CICS, SOA, Cloud, and lots more.
