FAQs: How do I upload a picture?
I talked about uploading pictures a bit in the FAQs: How do I upload/change my profile picture? blog post, but this will be a post dedicated solely to uploading a photo to your My GWC page.
To upload a picture, log into your account. If you are already logged in, go to your My GWC page by clicking on the My GWC link in the upper right-hand corner.
In the Explore Member box on the left-hand side of the screen, click on Photos > Upload Photo.

Click on the Browse for Files button, navigate to the picture you wish to upload, and click Open in the navigation pop-up window (NOTE: You can only upload JPEG, JIF, or PNG photos). Click the Start Upload button.
Give your picture a name in the Caption field. You can assign a search category to your photo from the Categories field; this will make your photo appear in the search results if someone does a network-level search on that category topic (i.e., if you assign your picture a WebSphere Smash category and someone searches for WebSphere Smash, your photo will show up in the search results). Click the Finished button when you are done.
Voila! Your photo appears in your main gallery!
In upcoming blog posts, I'll cover how to delete or edit your photo as well as how to create and manage your photos with the onsite galleries.
