Meet the Presenters


Sridhar Sudarsan is the Chief Architect for Batch processing Strategy in IBM.  He champions and leads the enterprise batch modernization and modern bulk Processing strategy in IBM and for customers.  In this role, Sridhar has architectural responsibility across products and platforms to deliver batch capability.  He has worked with numerous technical and business audiences to re-energize batch as a first class workload to achieve processing efficiency. Sridhar created the batch programming model in J2EE and IBM WebSphere Compute Grid - IBM's batch processing platform.

Savio Rodrigues is a product manager for WebSphere Application Server, responsible for V.next of WebSphere Application Server. He is also responsible for the WebSphere Application Server V7 Feature Pack for Communications Enabled Applications (CEA).  He has over a decade of experience in the software industry, with roles in market intelligence, strategy and product management.  Savio writes about open source for InfoWorld's Open Sources blog. 

Savio holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management and a Masters of Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Dave Gilgen is a Senior Engineer responsible for the development the WebSphere Application Migration Toolkit.  He has been involved in the toolkit since the initial requirements gathering phase through the development of all 4 releases.  His previous responsibilities included development of the WebSphere Hypervisor Edition, WebSphere secure proxy server, and various core component of the WebSphere Application Server.

His responsibilities include architecture for WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Integration Developer, WebSphere Business Modeler, WebSphere Business Monitor, WebSphere Business Services Fabric, WebSphere Industry Content Packs and WebSphere Dynamic Process Edition.

Eric is a senior member of the WebSphere Foundation Architecture Board and a member of the Software Group Architecture Board Steering Committee.

Meet the Presenter

Sid Bhatia is the Program Director of Product Management for the WebSphere Connectivity products at IBM. He works at the Bay Area Lab in California.  In his prior role, Sid worked in the financial services industry, leading a messaging architecture and engineering organization for a large brokerage firm. He has over 20 years experience in the software engineering and consulting field.

Sid has an Executive MBA and a Master's in Software Engineering.
