The 60-minute monthly GWC Lab Chat sessions will feature a different technology or technology trend each month and provide an opportunity for you to interact with the IBM development lab experts as you relay questions, offer recommendations, voice feedback and opinions and become part of the conversation with the IBM technologists and development teams.

Gennaro (Jerry) Cuomo, IBM Fellow, VP and Chief Technology Officer for the IBM WebSphere brand of products

Jerry is one of the founding fathers of WebSphere and has spent 20 years at IBM splitting his years between IBM Research and Software Group.  Jerry is a breakthrough innovator of solutions in the areas of high-performance transactional systems, middleware appliances, networking, web servers and dynamic scripting and enterprise-cloud scripting and enterprise-cloud computing. Jerry currently has filed for over 45 US patents and is an IBM Master Inventor.   In 2011, Jerry and team are looking to cloud and mobile computing as the foundation for the next wave of WebSphere innovation.
