GWC Presence at WebSphere Technical Conference - Barcelona Jorli Baker of IBM represented the GWC in a pedestal at one of the largest IBM conferences in Europe in November. During the week, Jorli met with many European WebSphere users, and discussed the best ways we could continue to bring them valuable information. Lots of connections were made and ideas proposed; keep an eye out for an increased GWC presence in Europe in 2009!

6 Years as a WUG Leader - Denise Eick and the Detroit WUG
For the past six years, Denise Eick has acted as the WebSphere User Group leader in the greater Detroit area. In this time, the WUG has held 29 meetings, and grown to over 1300 members. The WUG is comprised of a very diverse group of members ranging from the health care industry, to various software consulting companies, and of course the "Big 3" automotive companies.
