Primeur, a privately held Italian international company specializing in Managed File Transfer, Security and Systems Management, has recently become a Platinum Sponsor of the Global WebSphere Community. Primeur specializes in Business Integration and SOA/ESB implementation, and has worked closely with IBM for many years in providing WebSphere consultancy and implementation professional services. As well as services, Primeur also provides WebSphere focused products, most notably WebSphere Message Broker File Extender which IBM OEM'd from Primeur.
A Primeur employee, Guido Puglielli, leads the Italian WUG and Primeur understands the importance of sharing and exchanging ideas and experience with peers throughout the industry to maximize the RoI companies have made in WebSphere. "Being open to new ideas and listening to our customers is a key reason for our success," said Peter Sedgwick, Director Primeur UK Limited. "We believe strongly in the R of R&D and our customers have played a large part in ensuring that our products meet real market requirements and reduce costs".
IBM's recent announcement of WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition is a particular example of where Primeur's products and services are complementary. Primeur's Governance, Audit and Compliance product - Orchestration Suite - add support for WMQ FTE alongside other Internet and proprietary file transfer protocols, thus providing a single web based reporting tool across all an enterprise's file transfers.
